4 Months

As you can tell in the pictures, Brin is a very healthy baby. It is more apparent that she has developed preferences to things such as otter-pops (Thanks Grandpa Jan), not being in a car seat, talking/screeching to herself in the mirror and floor time. We are almost getting a full nights sleep with only one night time feeding around 3:00am, and she is able to get herself to sleep for naps, most of the time, except when we are out and about with lots of distractions.

3 Months

It is about time I write an update; Brin is actually more like 3 1/2 months now. She is getting more fun by the day. Here is a few new things we are seeing: laughing all the time and having conversations with us (especially when she is tired), rolling from tummy to back, dripping with drool, and enjoying the Otter Pops Grandpa shares with her.

2 Months

Brin is two months! I can't believe how fast the time has flown. She is becoming much more interactive, giving smiles and jabbering away. We love our little girl.

A Sunny Day in Poulsbo, WA

A couple of weeks ago, we went down to Poulsbo to have a look around. It is a quaint little Norwegian town on Liberty Bay. We enjoyed the sunshine and chocolate covered ice-cream and had to stop off at the bakery for some yummy doughnuts.

I am realizing that having a Viking hat on Brin is much more awkward than I thought it'd be.

Nap Time

6 weeks

Quick update: We are starting to get smiles and cooing during wake time. Holding her head up is getting easier by the day. She is becoming so active, swinging and kicking her arms and legs. Our pretty little girl is growing so fast!

About Ready to Burst...

So I have been threatening to put up a post of my beautiful wife. Plus, I want to see if I can do a complete post in a mere five minutes, not too much of a challenge, right?

The anticipation for our new addition is growing larger and larger everyday... if you know what I mean.

She has been busy nesting here at the house. Every time I turn around there is another "baby project" in the works. Rachel recently completed a fairly complex quilt for the baby. Here is a picture of it in the process of getting quilted together. You will all have to harrass her for a completed picture. If you're successful you might see more than an annual post on our blog.

BOOM! Four minutes.
