Farmer's Market

This morning we endured through the piercing cold to get fresh produce. By the end of the morning we had scored Roma tomatoes, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, oranges,  blueberries, bananas, broccoli and a pineapple for just about $10.

I don't think I've ever been this excited for vegetables in my life.

Thanks so much Catherine, Davis and Joanne for sharing this little treasure with us.

Toothbrush

Sometimes people give the toothbrush a rough time. They ask, "why is it called a toothbrush, shouldn't it be called a teethbrush?"

In some cases toothbrush is fitting.

9 months

We just about didn't get these pictures done within the 9 month window but here they are. Her wellness check up put her at 17 lbs 6 oz and 26 in tall. She almost has a full head of hair and her two bottom teeth have finally sprouted. Brin is a fun, precocious little thing that keeps us on our toes but still wanting more. She had so much fun at Grandpa and Lola's spacious home exploring that she now seems pent up and bored since we have returned to Boston. Over the last month she has learned to climb and even her first steps but isn't quite running around yet. Her object permanence is increasing, she remembers her favorite places to play (Lola's tupperware cabinet) and gone are the days of hiding things under a blanket to have it disappear from sight and memory.

A demonstration of her intense focus

Today we have been working on getting her on a regimented sleep cycle and she has had just about enough.

I know it's a bit blurry but I love that tongue.
